Advancing Youth Development Facilitator Conference, June 6, 2007 The regional facilitator updates and meetings have been replaced by an annual AYD Facilitator Conference. The first conference was held in 2006 in Geneva. The one day event featured a guest speaker, workshops and support/network sessions for facilitators to address challenges and successes experienced in their local community-based AYD trainings. In 2007, the AYD Facilitator Conference will be held in Ulster County on June 6. The AYD Partnership is an Outreach Program of the Department of Human Development. Steve Goggin continues as the Principle Investigator and Judy Briggs is the Administrative Assistant. Partners are Cornell Cooperative Extension, NYS Office of Children and Family Services, ACT for Youth, and the Association of NYS Youth Bureaus. AYD is in it 9th program year.
