Aging and Environment Initiative Seeks Additional CCE Collaborators.  This initiative aims to address both social isolation and environmental protection by working with Cornell Cooperative Extension associations and other community organizations to involve retirees in environmental volunteerism.
Why ‘Thinking Like a Scientist’ is Relevant to Kids.  Professor Wendy Williams is developing a curriculum for female and minority youth of low socio-economic status that teaches kids how they can use scientific reasoning for the problems they confront in their daily lives.

FDC Research Suggests Workers’ Understanding of Empowerment Plays Key Role in Helping Empower Families.  The findings of the study suggested workers learn to help empower families by learning to empower themselves through shifts in learning that enhance their own sense of self-efficacy.
